Fluffed Lizard Claws

This dish is always a hit.
It is especially good splattered with Aioli - don't worry we have you covered, there's a little bonus recipe below.
It's a great summery snack or a perfectly grotesque side dish for Bogied Brains.
Enjoy this gruesome grub and let us know what you think by using the hashtag #RascallyDiner.

Ingredients

450g Lizard Claws
40g (1 cup) Baboon Belly Button Fluff
1/2 tsp Powdered Bad Breath
1 jar Gloopy Old Spit
Pinch of Salt

Optional Aioli:
70g (3 heaped tbsp) Mayonnaise
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/4 tsp Powdered Bad Breath

Essential Kit: 2 Flat Bottomed Dishes, 1 Oven Tray, Baking Paper & a Bowl

Step 1

Get your adult to preheat the oven to 220° C.

Find two dishes with a flat bottom - they should be long enough to comfortably fit your Lizard Claws in.

Pour the Gloopy Old Spit into one of the dishes.

When that's done. Drench your Lizard Claws in the Gloopy Old Spit.

Excellent.

Step 2

Measure out 40g (1 cup) of Baboon Belly Button Fluff and pour it into the second dish.

Add 1/2 a teaspoon of Powdered Bad Breath - careful with this stuff, it's been sourced from a giant warthog, a little goes a long way. Now add a pinch of salt.

Mix it.  Mix it real good.

Step 3

Line an oven tray with baking paper so you have somewhere to put the claws once they are fluffed.

Now you're ready to roll your Gloopy Spit drenched Lizard Claws in the Bad Breath infused Baboon Belly Button Fluff. Try saying that three times fast.

Make sure you get a good coating of fluff on your claw.

Step 4

Spread your freshy fluffed claws out evenly across the oven tray.

Then, get your adult to put it in the oven for 7 to 10 minutes. It should already be preheated to 220° C. Remind them if they have forgotten.

Step 5

Whilst the Fluffed Lizard Claws are cooking, hunt down your favourite condiments for dipping your claws in!

Or maybe even make a dip. We love dipping our Lizard Claws in Aioli and it's really easy to make. Get a small bowl and pop the following ingredients in it:

70g (3 heaped tbsp) Mayonnaise
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Finally add a 1/4 teaspoon of Powdered Bad Breath to give it that Rascally Diner kick!  And.....mix it.

Step 6: Dish 'em up and devour those claws!
